Duels

Ever wanted to duel another chatter? Well you’re in luck! Simply reply to a message with the command !duel and bang it out.

Duels are a way to challenge another chatter to a shootout with their message at stake. If the dueled person loses, their message is deleted. If the dueler loses, they are prevented from dueling for some time.

Apart from deleting messages, the winner of a duel also receives a giga-vip level.

Duels appear at the top of the screen with both player’s orbs starting at the center and moving apart in preparation to shoot.

After a duel is started, music will play and when the music ends, both parties will be able to bang it out.

To shoot, type either !bang, bang bang or !!.

After the duel has been won, the timer will display the time it took for the winner to fire their shot, after the music ended.

Do you think you know who’s going to win the duel? Confident in your own victory? Put your money where your mouth is! Once the countdown starts, anyone may place a bet on who will win. Type !gamba <@username> <amount> to bet. Amount is in mega-vip. For example, !gamba @Red_Epicness 1640 is a bet of 1.64 gv that Red_Epicness will win the current duel.

The pot is split amongst the winners. Each dueler has 500 mv bet on their behalf from thin air. The more one bets, the bigger the share of the winnings they receive.

Every duelist has an Elo. The higher the Elo, the quicker to the draw they likely are. As one would expect, winning duels earns Elo, losing reduces Elo, and the amount gained or lost is determined by the difference between Elos. Everyone starts at 1200 Elo.

The usercard duel summary lists people’s Elo, wins and losses.
